It was one of those rainy afternoons, perfect for a cup of hot lychee tea and a 2 hour nap.
NGL, we are suckers for the sun and being in the rain meant being drenched and uncomfortable. (well, we were going to photograph and didn’t have enough hands to carry an umbrella)
But as Daniel and I approached Ann Siang Hill, with the rain hitting our faces and occasionally stepping on huge puddles of rain water, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of warmth despite the cold wind constantly sweeping past my face.
Maybe it’s because we were doing something out of our comfort zone together. Or maybe it’s simply because we were together.
At that moment, the rain brought so much comfort and warmth in me. I looked towards Daniel, and I knew he felt the same.
An empty and drenched Chinatown was not a sight we were used to seeing. But it was beautiful nonetheless.
We let down our hair and enjoyed every bit of our time with John and Micaela. Heck, we were even sad when our session came to an end.
And that is how the beauty of the rain carried us through. Time to stop rambling let the photos do the talking.
